New intern: Mailu Niehaus will be part of our team in September
Today we are lucky to have Mailu Niehaus join us as an intern for the month of September. Mailu is doing a BA in political science and law at the University Münster in Germany and her internship with us is a part of her studies. During her gap year, she moved to Iceland and studied Icelandic at Háskóli Íslands. She was the head of the youth council in Stuttgart and the permanent representative in the city council. Last summer, she did an internship with a Member of Parliament in Rhineland-Palatinate. Mailu has been active in the Green Youth, the Green Party´s youth wing, on behalf of human rights with a focus on gender equality. At the Human Rights Centre she will support us at our legal counselling for immigrants, organization of events, social media, and our website. We are very excited for her time with us, welcome Mailu!
