Regional Human Rights Instruments
International human rights instruments can be divided into global instruments, to which any state in the world can be a party, and regional instruments, which are restricted to states in a particular region of the world. The regional instruments in this section are thosa adopted by the African Union, Organization of American States, the Council of Europe, the European Union, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
