Open meeting with UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navanethem Pillay, in English - June 16th
Navanthem Pillay, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, is visiting Iceland and on this occasion the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with the Icelandic Human Rights Centre and the University of Iceland Institute of Human Rights, have organised and open meeting where the topics of strengthening and protecting human rights will be discussed.

H.E. Ms. Navanethem Pillay, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights discusses the role of the UN to promote and protect human rights

The meeting will be held on June 16th at Þjóðmenningarhúsið / The Culture House - National Centre for Cultural Heritage on Hverfisgata 15, and starts at 4pm.
