Collaborative contract between ICEHR and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs signed

A collaborative contract between the Icelandic Human Rights Centre (ICEHR) and the Ministry for Foreign affairs was signed today and will last until 2016. The objectives of the contract are to make ground for cooperation between the Ministry and the Centre and to promote a discourse on international human rights issues in Iceland guided by the ideals and objectives of the Centre. The contract also takes on Iceland's participation in the field of international human rights, for example in the United Nations and Council of Europe.  The Centre welcomes the contract and looks forward to collaborating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the coming years.
